Dr Mi-Jin Kim, MBBS, FRANZCA

Dr Mi-Jin Kim graduated from The University of Melbourne in 1996. She undertook her residency at Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Royal Childrens Hospital before commencing her anaesthetic training. Mi-Jin then completed fellowships at both RCH and RMH to further her interests in a combined paediatric and adult practice. She was awarded her fellowship from the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetics in 2005.

She has vast experience in most areas of anaesthesia but her special interests include Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Renovascular, Neuroanaesthesia, General Surgery and Perioperative Medicine.

She is a consultant anaesthetist at Melbourne Health and Eastern Health. She has also worked in the United Kingdom as a specialist. She is accredited at the major private hospitals including the Epworth Group, Ramsay Hospitals, Healthscope and Cabrini.

Mi-Jin holds a post graduate Certificate of Clinical Ultrasound and a post graduate Diploma of Perioperative Medicine from the University of Melbourne.  She is an ALS (Advanced Life Support) instructor and is involved with teaching and training at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
